The health and comfort of every guest is important to us. We ask that all pets be on a current flea and tick preventative before their stay. If fleas or ticks are found during check-in or while boarding, your pet will receive the appropriate treatment at the owner's expense to help protect all pets in our care.

We are happy to administer medications during your pet's stay. All medications must be in their original, labeled prescription container with dosing instructions. There is a $5.00 fee per injection. Please provide any pill pockets, peanut butter, cheese, or other items needed to administer oral medications. Refrigerated medications can be safely stored on-site.

Barks A Lot Pet Resort reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services at any time if we determine it is in the best interest of your pet, other pets, our staff, or our facility. This includes, but is not limited to, aggressive behavior, illness, incomplete vaccination records, parasite infestations, failure to comply with our policies, or any situation that may compromise the health, safety, or well-being of others.
Our commitment is to provide a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for every pet entrusted to our care. 🐾

For the safety of our staff and all pets in our care, Barks A Lot Pet Resort does not accept animals displaying aggressive behavior toward people or other animals. This includes food aggression, resource guarding, or any behavior that poses a risk to staff or other pets.
If a pet exhibits aggressive behavior during their evaluation or at any time during their stay, we reserve the right to immediately discontinue services. You will be contacted and required to arrange for your pet to be picked up as soon as possible. If you are unavailable, you must designate an emergency contact who can collect your pet on your behalf.
A $50.00 Aggressive Pet Handling Fee will be added to your account to cover the additional time, staffing, and safety measures required to safely manage your pet.
If services are discontinued due to aggressive behavior, all charges incurred up to that point, including the Aggressive Pet Handling Fee, are due and payable in full.
Our goal is to provide a safe, happy, and stress-free environment for every pet, client, and team member. 🐾

For the health and safety of all guests, pets must be current on the following vaccinations before their stay:
Dogs
Cats
Proof of current vaccinations is required prior to check-in. We reserve the right to deny admission if vaccination records are incomplete or expired. 🐾

We believe playtime is an important part of every pet's stay—and it's always included at no additional charge!
Our spacious outdoor play areas feature:
Pets enjoy supervised social play with our trained staff in a 4:1 dog-to-staff ratio, giving them plenty of opportunities to exercise, socialize, and have fun in a safe environment.
For pets who prefer not to socialize—including seniors, unaltered dogs over six months of age, or those who do best on their own—we provide individual play sessions tailored to their needs.
We offer continuous outdoor play rotations in approximately 15-minute intervals throughout the day. To ensure every pet's safety and comfort, our staff monitors weather conditions and adjusts outdoor play based on the temperature, breed, age, health, and individual needs of each pet.
To help pets recharge, all guests enjoy a daily quiet rest period from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM. This downtime allows pets to relax, cool off, enjoy lunch if needed, and return to play refreshed for the rest of the day. 🐾

For the safety and well-being of all pets in our care, every dog is required to complete a one-time evaluation before being approved for Doggy Day Camp or Boarding.
The evaluation allows our team to get to know your dog's personality, behavior, and play style while ensuring they are comfortable in a group setting. This process helps us create a safe, fun, and stress-free environment for every guest.
Evaluation Details:
Please note that Barks A Lot Pet Resort does not accept dogs displaying aggressive behavior toward people or other animals. Our goal is to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for every pet in our care.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to ensure the highest level of safety for all of our furry guests.

All clients are required to complete our Client Agreement prior to their pet's evaluation, Day Camp, or Boarding stay.
To ensure we have the most accurate and up-to-date information for you and your pet(s), the Client Agreement must be reviewed and updated annually.
A secure DocHub link will be emailed to you, allowing you to conveniently complete or update your Client Agreement online before your pet's visit.
For the safety and well-being of all guests, dogs and cats over six (6) months of age are required to be spayed or neutered to participate in group play.
We welcome unaltered dogs; however, the following policies apply:
If a female dog enters a heat cycle during her stay, an additional $50.00 per day/night fee will be added to cover the extra accommodations, cleaning, and supervision required.
Example Daily Charges:
Total: $120.00 per day/night
For the comfort and safety of all pets, please do not board your dog if you know she is in, or will be entering, a heat cycle during her stay. Heat cycles can create unnecessary stress and safety concerns for your pet, other dogs, and our staff.

A 3% credit card processing fee will be added to all credit and debit card transactions. To avoid this fee, you are welcome to pay your balance with cash.
